Murfreesboro and Mount Juliet Eye Centers provides a wide range of optometry services including traditional glasses and contact lens prescriptions, eye health exams, and other specialized services like myopia control and specialty contact fittings. Our staff is committed to providing you and your family the highest quality eyecare in a compassionate and professional manner. And to ensure you receive the best care possible, our office utilizes state-of-the-art optometric technology for all exams.

Licensed Optometrist
Dr. LeJeune performed his undergraduate work at The University of Cincinnati, where he majored in biology. He was accepted early into The Ohio State University College of Optometry after three years of undergraduate work. After receiving his Doctorate of Optometry, he moved to Middle Tennessee and started Murfreesboro Eye Center. Dr. LeJeune is passionate about providing high quality vision care, with an emphasis on cutting edge technology. Dr. LeJeune’s mission isn’t to give someone a pair of glasses just to get them by, it’s to utilize the latest advances in technology to get them seeing better than they ever have before. Dr. LeJeune is passionate about all kinds of eyecare, from fitting glasses, to specialty contacts, to advanced ocular disease. In his free time, Dr. LeJeune likes to spend time with his miniature schnauzer pup, exercise, and play Fortnite. He welcomes people of all ages to stop in for an eye exam!

Licensed Optometrist
Dr. Rachel Groff is a bubbly eye doc who finds joy in making each patient smile or laugh at least once before leaving her exam chair. She was born and raised in the Phoenix Arizona desert and, as such, thrives when she is outdoors. Whether it be hiking, climbing, or biking, Rachel is up for whatever gets her outside. She graduated from University of Arizona with a major in Nutritional Sciences. She then decided to face the winters in Columbus Ohio while attending The Ohio State College of Optometry where she quickly learned that biking on frozen roads is not okay.
In her free time she also enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dog and all other dogs of the world. During NBA season, Rachel can be found at a different microbrewery each week catching her Phoenix suns on the big screen. Come see Dr. Groff and get your eye exam with a side of laughter to boot!

Technician
Skylar is a skilled technician with five years of experience in the optical field. Born and raised in Tennessee, she ispassionate about ensuring every patient receives thorough, high-quality eye care treatment. Skylar takes pride in creating a positive experience and supporting patients throughout their visit.
Outside of work, she loves unwinding by playing video games—especially Kirby, her all-time favorite for its colorfulworlds and nostalgic charm—and spending hours building intricate Lego sets, enjoying the creativity, focus, and sense of accomplishment each finished piece brings.

Office Administrator
Alex is our dedicated Office Administrator, bringing strong leadership and a passion for organization to the team. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Tennessee in 2012 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.Her passion for management began 12 years ago. With six years of experience in the optical industry, Alex is committedto making sure both patients and team members have the support they need to succeed.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys boating, shopping, and reading. She and her husband, Jeff, are proud parents of threesons—Tristan and Ethan, who are now living on their own, and Kolby, who still keeps them busy at home.

Technician
Verena has three years of experience in the optical industry, where she works as a dedicated and knowledgeable technician. She has a special passion for contact lens training, finding genuine joy in helping patients overcome their fears and gain confidence as they learn a new skill. Watching someone go from nervous to successful is one of the mostrewarding parts of her role.
Outside of work, Verena enjoys building with Legos, appreciating the creativity and focus they inspire. She’s alsocurrently learning how to sew, embracing the challenge of mastering a new craft and expanding her creative skills.

Technician
Lourin has been in the optical field for two years and brings both knowledge and heart to her work as a technician. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University and loves that her role allows her to meet new people and build meaningful connections with patients every day.
Outside of the office, Lourin enjoys reading, doing nails, and serving in the youth group at her church. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a master’s degree in Healthcare to further expand her impact in the field.

Jada has been in the optical field for over two years and is currently a junior at Tennessee State University. She is passionate about helping others and loves learning more about how optometry is about so much more than just glasses — it’s a vital part of healthcare, just like visiting your primary care doctor.
Her favorite part of the job is educating patients and making a positive impact on their overall well-being through eye care. Outside of work and school, Jada enjoys shopping, spending quality time with friends and family, and watchingsports. After graduating, she plans to attend optometry school to continue pursuing her passion for eye care and making a difference in people’s lives.
